Meet Kristin

When I was eleven, I had a framed quote hanging in my bedroom that read, “When I grow up I want to be: IN CHARGE”.

From leading teams of up to 60 people, to executing international Fortune 500 company events of up to 6,000 participants, and managing a $10M Lululemon store, I've had plenty of opportunities to be in charge. I've developed a deep understanding of team dynamics, performance management, operations, and the development of a thriving workplace culture. After over a decade in various leadership positions, I encountered the most challenging role of all: motherhood. Being in charge of large teams or projects is nothing compared to teaching a tiny human being how to be in the world...especially when that tiny human will NOT stay in bed.

With this new perspective under my belt, I specialized in coaching professional women to lead fun, purpose-driven lives while navigating the demands of parenthood, which I continue as the Director of Coaching for Luscious Mother

Across the fields of leadership and personal development, I'm known for my warmth, insight, and fierce accountability. If you don't want to be held accountable to a goal, don't tell me about it. I care about your dreams as much as you do and I refuse to give up on them. This is why people hire me to be their partner as they navigate their careers, master themselves, and magnify their impact on the world.

From the legacy of my childhood vision, I not only got to be in charge of others, but I also learned how to be in charge of myself. I learned how to get my needs met and take action for things that matter to me. I learned how to own my experience and use it to make a difference.

That's what has led me to embark on a journey to help other people take charge in new ways—to be bold, fierce, & discover the pathways to executing their biggest, wildest dreams.

Motherhood + Leadership

50% of what I know about leadership comes from the business world, and the other 50% comes from my experience as a mother. Becoming a mom to a strong-willed, sensitive child meant that I had to let go of "my way" and look for "our way". I had to learn to collaborate better and trust that my innately creative three-year-old could work with me to figure things out. I had to see past her tantrums and appeal to the best parts of her. In essence, motherhood was a crash course in leading from a place of love. As I let go of my ego and looked at what would create a win for both of us, parenting became less about making my daughter do what I wanted and more about forming a relationship that could withstand any misunderstanding or disagreement. This is what all effective leaders do - they build trusting relationships that generate results.
